India Rising-1962-2020
In 1962, Indo-China war, India was not fully prepared to take on the mighty dragons . At that time , India was slowly gaining its foothold after attaining its Independence in 1947. It took almost 200 years for India to free itself from the clutches of British rule and to become a self sufficient country. So, just after 15 years of independence, there were not many changes in Indian economic status. It was still fighting its own internal war to become self sufficient and to do away with the evils of being ruled by a foreign country. All its resources were drained out by the British Government and several problems of sustenance were faced by the native people of our country to create its own identity. In 1962, we were lacking majorly all forms of resources including weapons and other sophisticated tanks. We didn't have any nuclear power of our own. We just had few bunches of old helicopters.
